The 585th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, poet and statesman Hazrat Alisher Navoi was widely celebrated in the city of Kuala Lumpur on the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia and the "Vatandoshlar" Public Foundation.
Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, heads of educational institutions, teachers and students, as well as Uzbek youth studying in Malaysia participated in the spiritual and educational event organized on the occasion of this date.
During the event, discussions were held about Alisher Navoi's rich literary and philosophical heritage, his incomparable place in the history of world literature and statehood, as well as his significance in the spiritual education of the younger generation.
Additionally, works of Navoi and a number of fiction books were presented by the "Vatandoshlar" Public Foundation.
