A number of spiritual and educational events were organized in the city of Baku in cooperation between the "Vatandoshlar" Public Foundation and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 585th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and sultan of the realm of words, Hazrat Alisher Navoi.
The events began with a flower-laying ceremony at the foot of the statue of Hazrat Navoi erected in the city of Baku. Deep respect was paid to the memory of our great ancestor.
Subsequently, a creative evening was held at the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences with the participation of nearly one hundred participants. Ambassadors, professors-teachers, experienced researchers, students, as well as compatriots residing in Azerbaijan actively participated in this event. The creative evening served to widely promote the invaluable literary heritage of Hazrat Navoi and to strengthen the feelings of national pride and spirituality in the hearts of young people.
