A book presentation of compatriot writers and an award ceremony for the winners of the "Creative Works Competition," held in honor of the birthdays of Alisher Navoiy and Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur, is taking place in cooperation between the "Vatandoshlar" Public Foundation and the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan.
The event began with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument of Alisher Navoiy.
